ARTIST STATEMENT

Born in Beverly, MA on Boston’s North Shore, Peter has spent time living throughout New England in both coastal and western Massachusetts, Martha’s Vineyard.

“From an artist’s perspective I am interested in the nature of the architecture, how it sits within its landscape, color and light. From a personal perspective, I find myself often curious about the story of the building: who built it and why; the many people who have lived or worked in the building; how the landscape may have changed around the structure over the course of years. I find that the curiosity I have about the building intertwines with the creative process in my interpretation of the architecture and landscape in one image.

Peter's Commissions

Peter has completed numerous commissions over the years and finds great joy in collaborating with collectors to create unique pieces that beautifully enhance spaces in both homes and corporate settings.

At Radovan Gallery, we work closely with the collector and Peter to develop a personalized artwork. Each commission is thoughtfully planned to incorporate elements that resonate deeply with the collector, whether it’s a specific location, a preferred color palette, or a motif from another piece that holds special meaning. This collaborative process ensures a profound personal connection between the final painting and the collector.
